Butser	Sleeps 2

Named after the highest point on the South Downs, Butser was our first shepherd’s hut and is still our most popular. The apple green and soft grey interior, panelled walls and vintage accessories lend the hut a romantic feel. Be warned though – at least three couples have got engaged while staying in Butser! The layout is traditional, with the door on the end and a wood-burning stove for heating and cooking. There’s a built-in double bed that sleeps two people in comfort, lots of storage space and a clever pull out dining table.

Best for...
Romantics; Pets; Hut purists; Getting down on one knee!
